Dr. Leah Cox came to Carolina July 19, 2021, as the University’s vice provost for equity and inclusion and chief diversity officer, serving on leadership teams for both the chancellor and provost. She provides leadership and vision for creating a more inclusive campus for students, faculty and staff, working collaboratively with all members of the campus and surrounding community. We will get to know her and hear about her plans through this interview.

Each year, 10 to 25 sophomores are selected as Kenan Scholars for their superior scholarship and genuine interest in putting the private sector to work for the public good. Scholars are introduced to the critical role that business plays in identifying and providing sustainable solutions to contemporary, complex issues and learn the interdisciplinary competencies of leadership, research and cross-sector collaboration essential for their future business success. We will meet a few of the scholars as we learn about this transformative program
